Property details
- For Cotswolds charm with a splash of rural splendour, this award-winning, 17th-century Jacobean pile tempts with 14 acres of stunning grounds within easy strolling distance from Bradford-on-Avon. A spa with an indoor pool, a Victorian walled garden, and plenty of activities will all keep you busy from dawn until dusk.
- Seasonal cuisine using ingredients grown in the hotel’s Victorian walled garden is served at two restaurants - the family-friendly Orangery and a fine-dining spot for grown-ups - both headed by Chef Jethro Lawrence, a quarter finalist in BBC's MasterChef: The Professionals. Expect classic British fare with a global twist, such as hearty three-course Sunday lunches, treacle-cured bavette steak with fries, and bramble, cherry and blackcurrant leaf parfait for dessert.
- Expect an eclectic but classic decor that mixes antique furniture with Welsh blankets, tasteful fabrics and period furnishings. Small Double rooms feature 4'6" double beds and are found in the Main House or Stone Cottage. Opt for a Small Family Double room, which is perfect for young families or those looking for more space.
The spa opens 7am-9pm Monday to Friday and 8am-8pm on weekends, with treatments available between 9am-6pm. Children can use the indoor pool any time during spa opening hours.
