Hudson New York, Manhattan

Property details

A super hip, legendary New York hotel with Philippe Starck interiors and a collection of stylish bars
Accommodation

A glowing beacon for what's cool and chic in Gotham City, Hudson New York is one seriously hip hotspot in a prime Midtown location. Designed by Philippe Starck, this boutique gem marries converted industrial architecture with slick interiors and subtle Art Deco accents.

Inspired by transatlantic travel, warm Makore walls and wooden floors imported from Africa contrast beautifully against bright white linens of the intimate guest rooms. You'll be delighted by the small touches, like X-ray-inspired lamps from British photographer Nick Veasey.

The 13-square-metre Standard rooms offer a queen or double bed, plus city or river views. Superior rooms are a bit larger at 15 square metres, with a queen bed and views of the city or courtyard. Deluxe rooms are larger still, between 15 and 20 square metres, boasting views of the river or courtyard. Studios offer with a sitting area with a stunning white sofa.

Amenities:

- En-suite bathroom
- Flatscreen HDTV
- Workspace/desk
- iPod docking station
- Wi-Fi
- Ciel bath amenities

Dining

Hudson New York hosts a bevvy of cool and cosy spots to grab a cocktail and a bite to eat. Enjoy craft beers and bold, mouthwatering burgers at Umami Burger, or take a visit to the hotel's Private Park (open seasonally), an outdoor hangout with a mix of antique and modern furnishings. Don't forget to visit Hudson Bar, a quintessential New York cocktail lounge, offering a curated menu of tequila cocktails in a newly redesigned space.
