Enjoy a relaxing and scenic seven-night journey around the picturesque bays and across the azure waters of Turkey – includes all travel and full board

Day 1: Bodrum

Board your traditional gulet ship today and get settled in. On the first night, you’ll be remaining anchored in port, so this is a great chance to get to know the picturesque town of Bodrum, famed for its lively bars and restaurants. Shop ‘til you drop in the boutique stores or get a culture fix exploring the vast Bodrum Castle, constructed in the early 15th century.

Meals: Dinner

Day 2: Bodrum – Alakisla Bay - Çökertme

After a hearty breakfast, settle in and get to know the captain and crew over a morning briefing. Then, raise the anchor and set sail for the stunning surroundings of Alakisla Bay for a chance to swim, snorkel or sunbathe. From here, you’ll get the chance to visit an ancient Byzantine village dotted with ruins. Continue to the charming fishing village of Çökertme, famed for its namesake kebab. Opt to step ashore or stargaze from your ship’s spacious sun terrace.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea

Day 3: Çökertme – Tuzla Bay – English Harbour

Depart for the sparkling blue waters of Tuzla Bay this morning and enjoy a tasty lunch and a spot of swimming or snorkelling here. Continue to English Harbour, so called due to the fact that British Navy boats hid here during the Second World War to avoid attack. It’s a scenic spot; explore the many quaint coves with a pair of flippers and a mask and snorkel, or simply relax on board your ship for the remainder of the day and evening.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea

Day 4: English Harbour – Karacasöğüt

Post-breakfast, raise the anchor and set sail for Karacasöğüt, a small fishing hamlet framed by a plethora of pine trees. From here, you can opt to get involved with an array of day trips (at extra cost). Choose to visit lively Marmaris, crowned by a castle and famed for its pretty harbour and lively atmosphere. Alternatively, join a Jeep trip to the Dalyan River, stopping at the Carian Rock Tombs, some local mud baths and İztuzu Beach; a large breeding ground for the endangered loggerhead sea turtle. After your day out, head back aboard your boat for dinner and a good nights’ kip.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea

Day 5: Karacasöğüt – Sedir Island – Ballisu Bay - Löngöz

Set sail today to Sedir Island, otherwise known as Cleopatra Island due to fact that Cleopatra and Mark Anthony were rumoured to have bathed here at Cedrae. Opt to visit the island’s ruins, including a 1,500-seat-capacity ampitheatre, then continue to Ballisu Bay and the natural harbour of Löngöz, sheltered by the verdant İğneada Floodplain Forests National Park. Drop anchor here and overnight.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea

Day 6: Löngöz – Kargili Bay – Orak Island

Depart for Kargili Bay this morning before breakfast, admiring the coast’s beautiful scenery along the way. After lunch aboard you ship, journey on to uninhabited Orak Island, where you’ll get the chance to go snorkelling and enjoy a short walk on the shore. Retire back to the ship for a sundowner or two and soak up the peacefulness of the region.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea

Day 7: Orak Island - Pabuç Burnu – Haremten Bay – Bodrum

Enjoy one last full day aboard your ship today as you set sail for Pabuç Burnu for lunch. After lunch, enjoy a stop at Haremten Bay for one last dip in the sea, then enjoy your final sail back to the port of Bodrum. A final dinner will be served aboard the ship, then you’re free to go and explore the lively nightlife of Bodrum Town.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea

Day 8: Bodrum

After a final breakfast this morning, it’s time to wave your cruise goodbye and set off on your onward journey.

Meals: Breakfast
Gulet Ship

You’ll be voyaging across the Aegean Sea in a traditional-style gulet yacht, with an open dining deck area, perfect for admiring the Turkish coast as you sail from bay to bay. Behind the traditional, marine-blue facade, you’ll find cosy inside-lounge spaces inside, with a varnished-wood finish, and splashes of colour to bring it up-to-date.

Standard cabins are modest but comfortable, boasting a similar decor to the lounge spaces, and pine cupboards for you to store your belongings in. All your gastronomical needs are catered for, with three meals a day on board combining fresh fish, grilled meat, mixed vegetables and more, plus daily afternoon tea and biscuits.

The gulet also has a range of snorkels, masks, and fishing equipment for guest use, as well as board games for some evening entertainment and a music system on board for relaxed nights under the stars. There’s also a sunbathing spot with sun mattresses to really help you get into the holiday mode with a cold beer in hand.

Amenities: Private bathroom; sun terrace, bar; dining area; music system; watersports equipment
