Property details
- Charm and tradition: For a cosy mix of Bavarian charm and traditional hospitality, Hotel Obermaier more than hits the mark. This family-run hotel is in the quiet area of Trudering, but perfectly well-connected to Munich’s bustling city centre. The property underwent a renovation in 2019, and has done an incredible job of capturing the spirit of Bavaria through its natural colour palette and soft wooden furnishings.
- Relaxed atmosphere: The traditional charm carries through to the hotel’s restaurant, a cabin-style space with wooden benches, wrought iron accents, and historic paintings on the walls - you’d be forgiven for thinking you’d stepped back in time and into the Bavarian wilderness. In the summer months, enjoy a locally made brew in the beer garden, sitting under the shade of a chestnut tree and let the world pass you by.
- Blending past and present: You’ve a choice of rooms here. Comfort Double rooms are located in the Traditional house, and are carpeted guest rooms with older furnishings and a more simple style. Located in the new building, the Superior rooms are much more sleek, with wooden floors and a feel-good atmosphere, ideal for longer stays.
