Lough Erne Resort is home to two championship golf courses, one of them award-winning: The Faldo Course and The Castle Hume Golf Course. It also has a golf academy with state-of-the-art facilities, including an all-weather floodlit driving range. Tee times should be booked prior to your arrival.

Dining

Discerning foodies are spoiled for choice at several exceptional dining spots, including The Catalina Restaurant - Northern Ireland’s first 3 AA Rosette hotel restaurant headed up by highly-acclaimed and award-winning Executive Chef, Noel McMeel. Equally worthy of your attention is The Loughside Bar & Grill for its eclectic mix of high-quality Irish meats and the more casual Blaney Bar for its succulent meat dishes, fresh seafood, and grazing menu that includes soups, sandwiches, and wraps. Afternoon tea is served daily between 2pm and 4pm and includes an enticing selection of finger sandwiches, patisseries, and freshly-baked scones with home-made preserves and Irish whipped cream. Room service is available during select hours.

Open daily from 9am until 7pm (until 9pm on Fridays), the award-winning Thai Spa features ten spacious treatment rooms (including a couples’ room and a traditional Thai massage room with a specialist couch). Location

You’ll be staying just outside Enniskillen, the main town of County Fermanagh that’s dominated by the River Erne. For first-timers and returning visitors, must-dos including checking out the underground network of caverns at the Marble Arch Caves UNESCO Global Geopark, fishing on Upper or Lower Lough Erne, exploring the surrounding lakes and rolling hills, and getting stuck into off-road driving, cycling, horseriding, canoeing, or golf. Further thrills include stocking up on locally-made crafts at Enniskillen Buttermarket, hiring a boat to discover some of Fermanagh’s many islands, and working your way around attractions such as Castle Coole, Crom Estate, Florence Court, Enniskillen Castle, Tully Castle, and Castle Archdale.
