The Ickworth

Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk

Standard Double room

Escape to a beautiful hotel on the spectacular Ickworth Estate, with breakfast and two-course dinner included

  • The Ickworth Hotel is a National Trust property dating back to the early 1800s, and is one of the country's most unusual and spectacular mansions. The house is distinguished by a soaring 100-foot-high rotunda and 1,800 acres of parkland comprising pristine Italianate gardens and expanses of wild woodlands.

  • Frederick's Restaurant is the Ickworth's adults-only restaurant and is housed in the original dining room of the Hervey family. Sophisticated candlelit meals of contemporary European fare are served looking out over the gardens. Breakfasts and family dinners are served in the more informal environs of the Conservatory.

  • Alongside a lovely heated swimming pool, a number of contemporary treatment rooms are available where massages, facials and reflexology treatments using the Elemis product range are available, plus manicures and pedicures.
