The hotel is located in the Swiss city of Bulle. From Bern Airport it’s about an hour’s drive to the hotel. From Geneva Airport it’s roughly an hour to an hour and a half’s drive to the hotel. Travelling by train will take just over two hours from either airport; note that there are no direct services.

Nestled in the Fribourg canton, Bulle is a gateway into the culture of La Gruyère. In the centre you’ll find the immersive Bulle Gruyère Museum, offering a glimpse into the art, history and traditions of this region. You can also wander around the old town, admiring the 16th-century architecture before ending up at the medieval Château de Bulle; between May and October, climb the castle tower for magnificent views over the town. For an unmissable taste of the region, a Fribourg fondue - half Gruyère cheese, half Vecherin - is a must. Of course, we can’t forget the chocolate - a short bus or train ride will bring you out to the little town of Broc, home of Maison Cailler. This iconic chocolate factory offers tours, tastings and workshops that are sure to delight you and your tastebuds (book tickets in advance to avoid disappointment).
