For a culture-packed day trip, drive along the rugged coastline and make your way to the tip of the island to indulge in some of its well-preserved history at the medieval Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stroll down the famous Street of the Knights, pay a visit to the Grand Master’s Palace, and promenade the gorgeous medieval walls. Should time permit, hop on a ferry and ride over to the sleepy nearby island of Symi with its picturesque little harbour and lovely shops and tavernas.
