Property details

  • Serene setting: Just a few hundred metres from Kozjak Lake in the middle of the Plitvice Lakes National Park, Plitvice Lakes Etno Garden is an amazing rural bolthole for a serene and tranquil time away. Surrounded by luscious green trees and turquoise blue lakes, this is a spellbinding place where you can forgo the hustle and bustle of everyday life and spend some quality time connecting with nature.

  • Local cuisine: Despite the remote location, amazing gastronomy opportunities await you at Etno Garden Restaurant. Breakfast ranges from delicious continental options to beautifully homemade donuts, with fresh lemonade and local honey. In the evening, succulent fish and meats are cooked over a coal fire, and you can count on finding the perfect wine pairing for any meal from the eclectic cellar. Due to the fiercely cold winters, the locals have perfected the making of brandy and liqueurs – it'd be criminal to return home without sampling at least one of them.

  • Active living: From Nordic walking and mountain biking to garden volleyball and archery, there's more than enough to keep all of the family entertained among beautiful scenery. After an active day outside, decompress and relax in the gorgeous sauna, or sip on a signature Croatian tipple while stretched out on a sun bed in the garden.

Croatia’s very first national park, The Plitvice Lakes National Parks is exceptionally beautiful and is even a recognised UNESCO World Heritage site. Most of the park is taken over with thick forests, but of course the lakes are a beguiling sight to behold. The lake system comprises some 16 named bodies of water, and several smaller unnamed ones, which all cascade into one another. The national park offers visitors seven different routes to tour the lake system. Some of the activities you can get stuck into in the area include hiking, rowing, cycling, and even skiing and sledding.
