Sofitel Paris Baltimore Tour Eiffel Hotel

Paris, France

Property details

A five-star Paris boutique brimming with history, across the river from the Eiffel Tower and next to Place du Trocadéro – includes breakfast and a dining discount
  • This is probably the closest thing to staying in the Eiffel Tower you’ll get, without actually staying in it. The building housing the five-star Sofitel Baltimore Paris Tour Eiffel Hotel was partially designed by Gustave Eiffel himself, located a five-minute walk from Place du Trocadéro – the best spot to see the tower across the Seine.

  • The hotel is a landmark in its own right – aside from Eiffel’s influence, the hotel has been a hotspot for the glitterati and literati of the Jazz Age and beyond, counting Jean Cocteau and Marlene Dietrich amongst its patrons. Inside, you’ll find tantalising menus, bright and stylish rooms, and a well-equipped fitness centre.

  • Michelin Guide-recommended Carte Blanche boasts a mouth-watering menu of French classics with an elevated twist. The seasonal produce is fresh, the meat is AOC-certified, and fish is caught from the wild. Then there's Le Bar du Baltimore, where dark wood panelling and dim lighting beckon you for a cocktail or light bite.

Location and what's nearby

88 Bis Avenue Kléber, 75116 Paris, France

Located just a five-minute walk from Place du Trocadéro – the best spot to look out at the Eiffel Tower, just across the Seine – and a 15-minute walk from the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe and the chic boutiques of the Champs-Elysées, you couldn’t be in a more central location to soak up all of this romantic city's iconic attractions.

For venturing elsewhere in the city, hop on the metro at Boissière (just outside your door), or dedicate some time to exploring the city on foot; the Louvre, Musée d’Orsay, Notre Dame, Marais neighbourhood, and arty Montmartre can all be reached within an hour on a scenic walk through the city (passing plenty of pretty sights along the way).
