How to get there

Centrally located close to Copenhagen's lakes and university district, Hotel Imperial is just a 20-minute drive or taxi ride from Copenhagen Airport. You can also get there via public transport - simply take the M2 metro line to Nørreport and change for an S line train to Vesterport; the hotel is just opposite the station. Alternatively, you can take the regional train from Copenhagen Airport to Copenhagen Central Station, which is just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel.

Hotel Imperial is located in central Copenhagen's Indre By neighbourhood, just down the street from the city's main train station. Take a quick five-minute walk to the iconic Tivoli Gardens, the world's second-oldest amusement park with 21 acres of landscaped grounds, lakes, fountains and flower beds. Be sure to visit at night, when tens of thousands of specially-designed lights twinkle under the moonlit sky.

You'll also be a short stroll from the Stroget pedestrian area and some of Copenhagen's trendiest boutiques, while in the central government district of Slotsholmen you'll find the magnificent Christiansborg Palace and plenty of dreamy period architecture.
