A sensational South Africa wildlife adventure, with Zimbabwe's Victoria Falls and an all-inclusive Mauritius stay, including Kruger National Park safaris, all travel and more
For adventure on an epic scale, there are fewer places on the planet as compelling as South Africa – the so-called Rainbow Nation that’s edged on three sides by 3,000 kilometres of stunning coastline and fuelled by wildlife-stalked savannahs, lush grasslands, Big Five national parks, incredible game reserves and too-cool cities. Add to the mix a memorable stay in the heart of Zimbabwe’s stunning Victoria Falls, and some blissful time on the sands of Mauritius, and you've an incredible holiday to remember.
You’ll kick off this eye-popping South-Africa-to-sand getaway with a night in Johannesburg, before heading to the Kruger National Park - one of the world's largest game reserves and home to plenty of wildlife. With two game drives includes while you're here, you've every chance of spotting some of South Africa's iconic 'Big Five'.
Next up is cosmopolitan Cape Town, where you'll head out on a half-day tour of the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Peninsula – one of the most sensational drives in the world. Spend each day free to do exactly as you please; perhaps taking the cable-car to the top of looming Table Mountain, visit Cape Point, stroll along the V&A Waterfront, wander the verdant Kirstenbosch Gardens or head to the famed Cape Winelands.
Next, you’ll head to the westernmost tip of Zimbabwe. Here, you’ll experience the thundering awe of the country’s most famous natural attraction – the Victoria Falls. Twice as tall as the Niagara Falls and with a drop several times longer, this wonder of the world is something you won’t forget easily. Then it's back to Johannesburg for one further night, before heading on to your final destination.
It's time to slow it all down next, with an all-inclusive stay at Le Méridien Ile Maurice. Located on the northwest coast of Mauritius, in the bay of Pointe Aux Piments, it's home to 1,000 metres of those sandy beaches and Indian Ocean views that have earned Mauritius its ‘heaven’ status. Latin American and Italian cuisine join traditional Asian spa therapies inside, and outside the turquoise waters make the complimentary snorkelling, kayaking and glass-bottom boat tours essential here.
