  • Picture-perfect Tuscany: In the heart of the Casentino valley, you’re surrounded by the undulating hills that characterise the iconic Tuscan landscape. Lounging by the pool, take time to soak up the verdant vineyard views and Italian sunshine with a glass of local vino in hand; you’ve found the serenity that lured Renaissance nobility out of the city for centuries.

End the perfect day of sightseeing with a sumptuous meal - be sure to try Tuscany’s most famous dish, the Fiorentina steak, which can be enjoyed al fresco in the warmer months. Tuscany is a region famed for its rich cultural history, stunning landscapes and wide variety of wines. Take all of this in by renting a car and winding your way through endless vineyards and terracotta towns perched atop the rolling hills. The resort is embraced by the vineyards and hills of the Chianti Rufina wine region; head to nearby Castello Nipozzano to sample the estate’s wines in the Frescobaldi family’s private cellar, deep beneath the historic castle.

Florence, sometimes known as a ‘living museum’, is Tuscany’s unforgettable capital. Once home to Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and Botticelli, the city has an unrivalled artistic legacy, with famous works such as The Birth of Venus and David on display in the city’s legendary galleries. The rich history of the city is evident in its palatial buildings, none more magnificent than the iconic Duomo.
