Hotel Gaarten has been designed so that once you arrive, you never have to leave: there’s so much to do here, from the spa to exploring the hiking trails, to trying different dishes in the restaurant and wine bar, and simply soaking up the sun in the gardens – you could easily spend a few days enjoying the picturesque surroundings right outside. The area around the hotel, however, is unspoilt and beautiful, with spectacular valleys, soaring mountains, quiet trails and gently flowing rivers: on foot is certainly the best way to see it all, but the hotel can help you with bike rental if you prefer a more energetic way to get around. Equally, visits to farms, cheese producers (it is Asiago, after all), horse trekking centres and hikes to mountain huts are all possible – just ask at the front desk for details.
