- Stunning surrounds: Located in the rolling, verdant hills of Chianti, Villa San Filippo is set within beautiful grounds replete with vineyards, olive groves and three outdoor swimming pools offering panoramic vistas. Dating back to the 16th century, this villa is a traditional Tuscan brick construction which commands spectacular views of the valley below.
- Delectable local cuisine: La Limonaia serves typical Tuscan breakfast buffets and dinners based around local, seasonal produce and simple regional dishes. In the summer months, enjoy your meals on the panoramic terrace, or in the Italian Garden restaurant. The wine cellar is well worth a look too, with a grand selection of wines for any occasion.
- Classic charm: Bedrooms are located in the wings of the house and are decorated in traditional Tuscan style, with tiled floors, en-suite marble bathrooms and warm, cosy lighting. How to get there
Villa San Filippo is located in a stunning part of Tuscany, just outside the town of Barberino Val d'Elsa. Florence Airport is roughly a 40-minute drive away through the rolling hills. Though the hotel can be accessed by public transport (three buses) from the airport, we highly recommend hiring a car to make exploring this beautiful region that much easier.
We cannot guarantee access to hotel facilities (e.g restaurant or spa), as these are subject to change due to COVID-19. We advise you check with the hotel two weeks before your trip. If you choose not to travel, you must actively cancel up to eight days in advance to ensure a full refund.
Please be aware that the outdoor pools may be subject to seasonal opening times.
Please note that a city tax of €2 per person, per night, is payable directly to the hotel.
