Romantic Bruges retreat in the heart of the city
Dukes’ Arches, Belgium

Property details
- Historic elegance: A stunning 19th-century aristocratic residence, this refined hotel houses a wellness centre in its 16th-century cellar and feels like a real hidden gem tucked under regal stone archways. There's a sauna, hammam, gym and relaxation room, as well as an array of soothing treatments available to treat yourself to, from massages to facials.
- Bruges eats: The hotel has no dedicated restaurant, however there's a bar with a lounge and cute orangery-style breakfast room, as well as lovely green courtyard views and plenty of natural light. Being in the heart of the city, you'll have plenty of charming eateries to discover right on your doorstep.
- Central locale: Dukes’ Arches is located in the historic centre of Bruges, just a three-minute walk from the striking Basilica of the Holy Blood, and a five-minute walk from Market Place, the Belfry of Bruges Medieval bell tower and the Bruges Beer Museum - with the city's other main sights and points of interest within spitting distance.
How to get there
The hotel is located at the very heart of the medieval city of Bruges, just 150 metres from the Markt Square. The hotel has a small car park - reserve your place in advance - so you can park easily if you're driving - the centre of Bruges is difficult to navigate by car and many streets are pedestrianised or restricted to traffic. There are public car parking garages within easy reach of the hotel. The nearest airport is 95 kilometres away in Brussels, though you could also fly into Antwerp, 115 kilometres away, or Ostend, 25 kilometres away. Bruges train station is two kilometres from the hotel; one of the easiest ways to travel is via Eurotunnel or Eurostar, with a change at Brussels Midi.
