With easy access to metro lines 2, 3 and 9, Paris is practically at your feet; of course you’ll want to hit all the top spots, but make time to explore some of the interesting neighbourhoods around your hotel, too. Start your day with a walk through the bohemian old village of Ménilmontant past hidden cafés, artists’ studios and the occasional neo-Gothic church before arriving at Père Lachaise Cemetery.
