Soak up the sights of Las Vegas and Long Beach before casting off on a sun-soaked Mexican Riviera cruise - includes all travel, a full-board cruise and Grand Canyon bus tour

Las Vegas

Your adventure begins in style with a visit to Las Vegas, a one-of-a-kind city with an endless line-up of attractions that are sure to keep you dazzled from day to night. You’ll be staying right in the city’s beating heart, on the iconic Strip where glittering casinos and sprawling shopping malls give way to jaw-dropping shows and sky-high rides.

While you're here you'll head out on an adventure to the unfathomably epic Grand Canyon, one of the natural wonders of the world. You'll ride to the West Rim, where you can walk over the canyon on the glass-bottomed Skywalk. Take a short hike down to Guano Point for spectacular views, then head back to Vegas, stopping at the Hoover Dam en route.

Los Angeles (Long Beach)

Next, take a short flight to Los Angeles where you’ll be staying on the fringe of the city in laidback surfer city Long Beach. Just a short hop along the Pacific from the bright lights of Hollywood, this vibrant beach base boasts a thriving waterfront scene with dining, museums and a colourful Aquarium lining its sun-dappled shores.

Mexican Riviera Cruise

Day 1: Los Angeles (Long Beach) - At sea

Depart Los Angeles, spending your first night at sea. (Meals: dinner)

Day 2: At Sea

Spend a fun-filled day at sea exploring the ship’s incredible facilities. (Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 3: Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Your first stop in Mexico is Cabo San Lucas, a sun-drenched playground on the southernmost tip of the Baja California Peninsula. As famous for its arching cliffs overlooking swathes of white sand as it is for its electrifying nightlife scene, spend your days flitting from beach to bar as you watch yachts bobbing in and out of the marina. (Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner)

Day 4: Mazatlan, Mexico

Next it’s on to Mazatlan, a pretty port town where colourful French Baroque and neoclassical architecture sits harmoniously alongside all the trappings of a modern-day beach resort. With such a varied history, there’s more culture than you can shake a margarita at, and you can soak it all up at the kiosk-lined Machado square. Once you’ve had your fill, find a spot on one of the pristine beaches to bronze the day away in style. (Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner)

Day 5: Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Idyllic beaches and action-packed watersports are the name of the game in Puerto Vallarta, a buzzing coastal resort on Mexico’s paradisiacal Pacific coastline. Stroll along the El Malecón promenade and you’ll be met with buzzy bars jostling for position alongside eye-catching art installations. If beaches and bars aren’t your bag, there are plenty of low-key attractions here, too. The piece de resistance is the ornate Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe church which sits at the centre of it all in a picturesque cobblestone square. (Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 6: At sea

Today you’ll be spending your second day at sea, so you’ll have plenty of time to get stuck into the ship’s impressive facilities. Tee off at the mini-golf course, indulge in a martini tasting session or grab a seat at one of the many stage shows before blissing out with a treatment in the serene spa. (Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 7: At sea

Spend another day at sea making the most of the ship’s endless attractions. (Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 8: Los Angeles (Long Beach) - UK

Arrive back in Long Beach early in the morning, then disembark and return to LAX airport for your flight home. (Meals: breakfast)
