Escape to a spectacularly cosy suite on the banks of the Lule River in Swedish Lapland - includes breakfast and a bottle of non-alcoholic sparkling wine. Refundable hotel - book with confidence

  • Off-grid living: It doesn’t get much better than this luxurious Swedish stay, perched on the banks of the Lule River. Only accessible by boat during the summer, these spectacular suites are the ultimate remote relaxation, surrounded by age-old pine forests, with, if you’re lucky, the Northern Lights dancing in the sky above you.

  • Magical suites and spa: Bedrooms here come in the form of futuristic pods, whose glass windows give perfect views of the surrounding wilderness. Based on the traditional Sámi goahti houses, luxury suites are cosy with double beds and private bathrooms. Elsewhere, a cryotherapy spa promises physical and spiritual awakening with treatments from its menu - think massages, plus yoga and meditation.

  • Local dining: Using sustainable produce, The Lodge offers a taste of Lapland, taking inspiration from Sámi cuisine. Breakfast is served as a full à la carte selection that includes cured reindeer meat, creamy yoghurt from mountain cows and Lappish cloudberries, while lunch and dinner are cooked over roaring fires outside.

How to get there

The cabins are based in a very remote area and the nearest town is Jokkmokk, roughly eight kilometres away. You’re best off flying into Luleå, 173 kilometres away, and arrange a transfer directly with the hotel. If you choose this option, you will transfer to the hotel and be met on arrival by a local guide who will take you to your cabin either on foot, snowmobile or dogsled, depending on the season and availability.

Please note that the map location is not the hotel itself but the head office. If you would prefer to transfer from the airport by yourself, please meet here to be guided to your cabin and let the hotel know your arrival time.

The total check-in time will be roughly one hour and include storytelling about life in the arctic. It is recommended that you wear warm winter clothing for your journey to the cabins in winter and rain clothes and hiking boots in summer. Please note that each cabin is spread out, with roughly two kilometres between each cabin.
