From Stockholm Central Station its a quick 28-minute train journey to the hotel. If you’re coming from Stockholm Arlanda, its an hour away on public transport or 30 minutes in the car. If you’re flying into Stockholm Bromma Airport, it’s 20 minutes by car and 40 on public transport.

Stockholm is a wonderful city, floating across a whopping 24,000 separate islands ranging in size. You’re just 30 minutes away from the city centre by car and roughly the same on Sweden’s fabulously efficient public transport. There’s so much to see here, from the museums and palaces of Gamla Stan to Alberget, where you’ll find the Abba Museum and some beautiful, breezy marinas to wander.

Head north and you’ll find yourself entering Sweden’s wild surrounds, where forests and lakes populate the landscape. Sigtuna, Sweden’s first town, is about 40 kilometres north and well worth a day trip, while Gripsholm Castle, on Lake Mälaren, is about an hour west.
