City-to-country Iceland break, with Northern Lights and Golden Circle tours, a volcanoes and waterfalls excursion, and much more - travel included

Iceland is home to some of the most phenomenal scenery on our planet. Here's your chance to get a taste of it with a four-night break split between Reykjavik, the world's northernmost capital city, followed by the picturesque village of Vik. You'll be staying at CenterHotel Plaza, an excellent hotel in an unbeatable location, followed by Hotel Katla in southern Iceland's countryside. During your trip, alongside seeking out the mesmerising and elusive Northern Lights dancing across the sky, you'll also have the chance to witness the ethereal beauty of the Golden Circle and tour the fantastic Blue Lagoon geothermal spa.

For the first and last night of your journey, you'll touch base at CenterHotel Plaza. Decked out with modern oak furniture and sleek décor, it offers guests a breakfast buffet of fruits, breads and jams with cold cuts, cheeses and pastries. After a day's sightseeing, sip on a refreshing cocktail or glass of wine in the stylishly decorated Plaza Bar. For your middle two days, Hotel Katla will serve as your home. Here, 72 wood-adorned rooms offer utmost comfort, hot tubs provide a relaxing space after a day out and about, and a cosy restaurant serves up local specialities you won't want to leave behind.

Good to know

Your itinerary over the four-night stay includes tours of the Golden Circle, the Blue Lagoon, Jökulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, and Skaftafell National Park, as well as a Northern Lights tour, a volcanoes and waterfalls tour, entry to the Eyjafjallajökull Visitor Centre and a visit to an Icelandic farm, with horse stables and a geothermal greenhouse.

The Northern Lights are of course a naturally occurring phenomenon, so while you will have a good chance of seeing them (and we'll cross our fingers for you), we cannot guarantee they will oblige.
