Though Koh Phi Phi Don is best known for its late-night parties and buckets of beer, there’s still peace and quiet to be found on this stunning Thai island if you’re not a party-goer. Your hotel is located on the quiet north eastern coast, on Loh Ba Kao Bay, also known as Captain’s Lay, a long, white-sand beach peppered with palm trees from end to end. Just a short walk across the island are Loh Lana Bay and Nui Beach, which boasts some of the rock formations these islands are well known for.

Days here will likely be spent lounging on the beach and soaking up the sun, but if you’re itching for adventure, there’s always the option to climb to the island’s high viewpoint for stunning views. You could also day trip to other islands, like Koh Phi Phi Leh, or Bamboo Island. Divers will also have plenty to keep them occupied, with tons of stunning marine life lying under the waves and a dive centre on site. The hotel is happy to arrange a variety of excursions for an additional fee.
