Enjoy an activity-rich Iceland tour split between Reykjavik and Vik, with a Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon visit, Northern Lights hunt, Golden Circle tour, Blue Lagoon and much more, plus all travel

Day 1: UK - Reykjavík

Touch down in Reykjavík and transfer to Hotel Klettur (transfers included on selected offers).

Day 2: Reykjavík - Thingvellir National Park - Vík

Today, you'll embark on an epic Golden Circle tour, taking in Iceland's famous Geysir hot spring area, where you'll visit Strokkur which erupts every 10 minutes, Gullfoss waterfall and Thingvellir National Park. You'll then transfer to greener landscapes for a stay at the Hotel Katla in Vík. In the evening, you'll head out on a Northern Light hunt (weather permitting; alternatively, this will be included on day three instead).

Day 3: Vík - Jökulsarlon Glacier Lagoon - Vík

Jökulsarlon Glacier Lagoon beckons today, with its incredible icebergs that traverse down the waterway towards Diamond Beach, a unique stretch of black lava sand and crashing waves, punctuated by icicles and small icebergs. En-route back to Vík, you'll also visit Skaftafell National Park.

Day 4: Vík - Skógar - Suðurland - Hvolsvöllur - Reykjavík

You'll visit breathtaking, contrasting landscapes today: Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls, the glaciers and volcano of Eyjafjallajökull, and the Lava Centre in Hvolsvöllur (the largest volcano and earthquake exhibition in Iceland). Stop at the famous thermal waters of the Blue Lagoon (admission included on selected offers) before driving back to Reykjavík.

Day 5: Reykjavík - UK

Transfer to the airport for your flight home (transfers included on selected offers).

Good to know

Please be aware that the Northern Lights are a naturally occurring phenomenon, so while we hope you will get to marvel at them during your excursion, we can't guarantee they will be visible.
Hotel Klettur, Reykjavík (one night then one night)

In the very centre of Reykjavík, the Hotel Klettur is near the city’s main shopping street, Laugavegur. You’ll be able to kick-start the day with a smorgasbord of hot and cold breakfast treats in the hotel’s bright dining room; expect baked pastries, fresh fruit and all the usual favourites. Each of the 86 rooms are bright, spacious and airy with big windows and neutral hues. Icelandic rocks interspersed throughout the hotel hark back to folkloric tales of elves, and bring an air of Nordic history to the communal areas.

Amenities: bar, lounge, games room, dining room, laundry service, air conditioning/heating

Hotel Katla, Vík (two nights)

It's off to Hotel Katla next, where you're sure to feel completely comfortable and at home for two nights in southern Iceland. Bedding down in one of 72 rustic guest rooms, you're guaranteed a peaceful night's sleep as well as all the necessary amenities, including Wi-Fi access and a television. For a hearty buffet breakfast and warming food in an equally warming atmosphere, head to the restaurant with great views of the hotel's country surrounds. Guests here also have access to the outdoor geothermal hot tubs, for extra laid-back bliss.
