Location and what's nearby

Kyrkogatan 2, 269 33 Båstad, Sweden

Båstad (pronounced bow-sta) is a charming Swedish coastal town, famous country-wide as a summer resort for locals. It makes up part of what is nicknamed the Swedish Riviera, overlooking Laholmsbukten Bay, with forested hills and nature reserves as a backdrop. Take some time to wander the town and admire the colourful clapboard houses that line the streets, and don’t miss out on a visit to Norrviken Båstad, the beautiful gardens just along the coast.

The best thing to do is hire a car to drive up and down the coast, stopping in at restaurants, cafés and sights en-route. You could drive south to visit the lovely city of Mälmo, about an hour and a half away, or head north and see the sights of Gothenburg, which is only slightly further.

Five-star booking service? You bet.
