Palatial Brussels hotel in the heart of the city

Hotel Le Plaza, Brussels, Belgium

Property details

An elegant, eco-conscious hotel in a 1930s-era building in the heart of Brussels, with sophisticated dining and artfully appointed interiors - includes breakfast

  • Timeless stay in a great setting: Dating back to the 1930s, Hotel Le Plaza oozes sophistication and grandeur. With high ceilings, velvet drapes, marble features and embroidered furnishings, this hotel will transport you to another world - and yet, it is also conveniently placed at the heart of all the modern-day action, offering easy access to the city's bustling sights, eateries and bars.

  • Superb Art Deco style: This elegant gem is steeped in history, and you'll find nods to the Golden Era everywhere you look. From the black-and-white chequerboard flooring and bewitching spiral staircases to the Baroque antique furniture and ornate chandeliers, you'll feel like you've stepped into the (designer) shoes of a 1930s film star.

  • Gastronomic dining: The brasserie-style L’Estérel is a large and impressive affair, with rich colourful fabrics and fine wooden furniture – all perfected by the unique addition of a large dome overhead, painted with a blue-sky motif. The restaurant serves continental cuisine with a creative touch by seasoned chef Olivier Bontemps, and offers an extensive wine list.

How to get there

The hotel is approximately 30 minutes from Brussels Airport, with trains running around four times an hour from basement level -1. From Midi train station, take the line 6 train (heading towards Simonis Elisabeth) to Rogier Station, and from North train station, you're just a five-minute walk from the hotel.
