Set in the rolling Wiltshire countryside just a few miles from the historic town of Bath, the 17th-century Guyers House Hotel & Restaurant offers an idyllic country escape straight from the pages of a classic novel. With the Cotswolds' towns, villages and scenery right on the doorstep, there's plenty to do and see in the local area, or if you'd rather stay put, the hotel's grounds will oblige you with plenty of winding paths and pretty trails to follow.

We’d recommend paying a visit to the village of Lacock, famous for its unspoilt Tudor aesthetic and beautiful abbey, as well as Castle Combe, possibly the most picture-perfect village in the wider Cotswolds’ region. Further afield lies the Roman architecture and swish spas of Bath.
