The beamed or arched ceilings and light stone walls add plenty of historic character, while modern amenities bring the rooms firmly into the 21st century.
- Lovely breakfasts: While there's no restaurant at the property, guests are treated to an open menu for breakfast at the Natale Pastry Shop a few steps away. By all accounts, the sumptuous and wholeheartedly local 'pasticciotto leccese' is the best.

How to get there
The property lies 56 kilometres south of Brindisi airport; your best best is to hire a car or take a taxi. From Lecce train station, six kilometres from the hotel, it's also much faster to take a taxi as public transport is limited and entails a long journey time.
