- Boutique riverside retreat: From humble beginnings as a 16th-century coaching inn, The Relais Henley has undergone many a reinvention to transform it into what it is today. A cosy yet stylish boutique on the banks of the River Thames, behind its wisteria-clad façade you’ll find individually designed guest rooms that capture a country-chic spirit and the natural botanic beauty of the Chiltern Valley.
- Savour seasonal British fare: Savour seasonal British fare: British seasonal classics await at the newly opened Restaurant Dominic Chapman. Tuck in to the likes of Cornish crab salad, rib of Hereford beef, steamed Scottish halibut, and lemon meringue pie. There’s also the Deli, a café-style pantry where you can enjoy cakes, pastries, coffee and soft drinks as well as local, organic products.
- Tempting tipples at every turn: The intimate Quarterdeck Bar, tucked away in the oldest part of the building, has been revamped to bring the best of contemporary style and vintage pub vibes together on one place. Ideal for early evening aperitifs, sip a martini or locally distilled gin in the comfort of one of the plush armchairs or velvet sofa’s. There’s also The Courtyard, the perfect spot for alfresco dining and drinking during the warmer months.
