Just 25 minutes on the S-Bahn brings you from your swish pad to the heart of Munich, where a wealth of cultural activities, shopping opportunities and culinary delights await you. Start off in the Old Town walking past the beautiful Marienplatz and spectacular Gothic architecture like the New Town Hall and St. Peter's Church, the oldest in Munich - you can climb the 56-metre tower for impressive city views.

Elsewhere, petrolheads will love the BMW Museum, while art lovers should add the Alte Pinakothek to their itinerary. Stroll down the regal Maximillianstrasse to browse luxury brands housed in beautiful 19th-century buildings, or head to open-air Viktualienmarkt to wander between stalls of fresh produce, Bavarian delicacies and classic souvenirs. This is also a great place to stop for a street food lunch; grab a fresh pretzel or a leberkäse sandwich, then head to the beer garden to sample the daily-changing beer on-tap.
Five-star booking service? You bet.
