Escape to a beautiful stone villa set on a hilltop with far-reaching views over Tuscany – includes breakfast, flights, car hire and a welcome drink

  • With its red-tiled villas, original stone brickwork and dreamy views over the Val di Chiana, the country estate of Cignella is a typically tranquil Tuscan retreat. Perched atop a hill among well-kept gardens, with commanding vistas towards Lake Trasimino, you’re perfectly placed to plan your exploration of the area’s many attractions.

  • Cignella offers a relaxed home-from-home atmosphere, with an especially helpful concierge service that goes out of their way to offer up tips and advice on the local area. Home for your stay is in a restful, calmly decorated room in one of the villas and boasts sweeping views over the Val di Chiana.

  • Rejuvenate with a wellness programme and a dip in the pool, take home some local flavour by enrolling in a cookery class and learning how to make fabulous four-course dishes, or escape on an indulgent winery tour. Breakfast is included in your stay, while for other meals you’ll find a list of recommended local restaurants in your welcome pack (complete with reviews and prices).
