THE LOVINA Bali Resort is located on Lovina Beach, along Bali's northern coast. It's around 85 kilometres (two hours and 30 minutes' drive) from Denpasar, the island's capital. Around 95 kilometres away, Ngurah Rai International Airport is a little further afield and can be reached in just about three hours by car.

On the north coast of Bali, Lovina Beach is as peaceful as places come. Stretching across eight kilometres of coastline, Lovina consists of a string of pretty coastal villages, and you’ll be staying right in the heart of it: the village of Kalibukbuk. The main talking point in the region is undoubtedly the rich marine life, including the pod of bottle-nosed dolphins who have made the area their playground; why not hop on a traditional boat called a ‘jukung’ and set sail to see these beautiful marine mammals frolicking in the shores.
