A AAA Three Diamond hotel right in the middle of an 8.6 million-square-foot gambling destination

Foxwoods Resort Casino is so proud of its casino culture that it houses a sculpture named “The Rainmaker” – and if it’s high-rolling that you want, you’re not taking a gamble staying here. Get ready to game, because this property has all the classic table games, including the only $1 Blackjack tables in Connecticut. If you prefer the slots, you’ll enjoy the quantity of the resort’s machines – 4,800 – and the themes informing many of them, like Elton John, Batman and Ghostbusters. If this getaway is its own 8.6 million-square-foot world, money makes it go around.

It certainly feels like a distinct world, what with the other spaces within it, many of them also pretty flashy. There are 16 places where you can eat or drink, plus multiple nightlife venues, including a bowling alley, aptly called High Rollers. Without even leaving, you can shop at designer shops and outlet stores, catch a concert or comedy show or get on your game, throwback-style, at the arcade. Or you can just hang out in your spacious accommodation at the Grand Cedar Hotel, which is right in the heart of it all. Or, you might say, right on the money.

Good to know

Please note that a resort fee of $19.49 per room, per night is payable directly to the hotel. The resort fee includes access to the fitness center, two bottles of water, in-room coffee and tea, newspaper upon request, unlimited local calling, 24-hour property-wide onsite transportation and Wi-Fi.

Our advertised lowest rate is available in September, but every bookable date is still the lowest price for that room, on that night, that you'll find anywhere online.

We like

  • Taking a gamble at the casino, with your pick of slots, poker, Keno and more
  • Choosing between 16 eating-and-drinking spots, plus a buffet
  • Mixing it up activity-wise, with a video game at the arcade, a bowl at the High Rollers alley or a round of golf at an acclaimed course
  • Swimming in the Fox Tower outdoor pool, complimentary to hotel guests of all ages, except when it's a Liquid Sunday and there's a pop star performing

Can't commit to booking right now?

Hold a date for only £25 while you decide.

  • Pay £25 to hold a date until the end of the sale.
  • If you choose to buy it, the money will go towards your purchase, if not, the cash will be credited to your Secret Escapes account.

Important: Please note, this is not a deposit, complete or guaranteed booking; holding the date simply prevents other members from swooping in and booking your preferred date while you're still having a think about it. Secret Escapes will not be liable for expenses incurred should that date not be available to book and a hold is cancelled.
