Fowey Hall

The majestic Fowey Hall Hotel looks like it's popped out of the pages of a storybook - and indeed it has, as it was the original inspiration for Toad Hall in The Wind in the Willows. Set on a hillside, overlooking the quaint Cornish sailing town of Fowey, this traditional retreat also offers a large helping of modern luxury and style.

Spend the day relaxing in Fowey Hall Hotel's spa, as you swim the length of the indoor pool and unwind in the outdoor hot tub whilst gazing over the Cornish countryside. Head into Fowey itself for an afternoon strolling around the estuary to discover picturesque villages and sweeping beaches.

For day trips, The Eden Project, Polkerris Beach and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are all nearby. Upon your return to Fowey Hall Hotel, you can find a cosy reading corner to escape to for a few hours or settle into the early evening with a drink by a roaring fire before dining on the best of the area's produce in Fowey Hall Hotel's elegant, two AA Rosette-awarded restaurant.

Please note that this hotel is particularly family-friendly, and the spa area is also open to children - so if you're looking for a super-quiet break, this may not be the place for you.

Please note that the swimming pool and hot tub are open daily from 8am-8pm, with adult-only swim times from 8am-9am and 6.30pm-8pm. Spa treatments are available from 10am-6pm Monday to Saturday and 10am-5pm on Sunday.
