A dazzling self-drive adventure to New Zealand’s North Island before hitting the beach in Fiji, with an authentic Maori village experience, Auckland city tour and car hire

With its volcanic peaks, rugged coasts and hot springs, it is easy to see why location scouts for the likes of The Lord of the Rings look to New Zealand for inspiration. During this self-drive adventure of its North Island, you’ll find plenty of dramatic backdrops for your own holiday blockbusters.

Following your international flights from the UK, you'll split your time between Auckland, Martinborough, Wellington and Lake Rotorua, some of the country’s most impressive natural and manmade wonders. In addition to exploring the thermal pools and glow worm caves of Lake Rotorua, you can enjoy city life in Wellington and Auckland, an authentic Mitai Maori village experience and join New Zealand’s impressive wine trail. Stays in four luxury hotels along the way ensure there’s plenty of comfort to go with all the cultural attractions, too.

If that’s not enough R&R, five further nights at the Warwick Fiji hotel will transport you to the white sands and clear lagoons of Fiji’s Coral Coast. Here you can spend your days exploring the resort’s 28 paradise-like acres before passing your evenings in its five restaurants and six bars that serve authentic local flavours and impressive cocktails that you can enjoy with your resort credit.

Good to know

A US transit is required, so UK passport holders must ensure they have a valid ESTA prior to departure.

This holiday allows you to spread the cost of your break by paying only the deposit upfront. The remaining balance is due at a later date and is to be paid directly to the holiday supplier (the exact date will be stated on your booking confirmation).
