An unforgettable journey through Nepal with city, jungle and mountain stays, including breakfast, sightseeing excursions and all travel

Day 1: Kathmandu

Touching down in Kathmandu, you'll step off the plane and into the spiritual core of one of the world's most charismatic countries. You’ll check into your first hotel and spend the entire day at leisure, wandering in and out of vibrant markets and exploring some of its highlights - the historic Old Town and the Garden of Dreams are a good place to start. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 2: Kathmandu

Take a guided tour from an expert guide around the city, exploring the capital’s oldest areas and immersing yourself in Nepalese life. You’ll visit the Kumari Temple, the hillside Swayambhunath Stupa, which boasts incredible panoramic views of Kathamandu and the old city of Patan. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 3: Kathmandu

Visit the Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most beautiful and famous in all of Nepal, and then gaze up at the iconic Boudhanath Stupa, one of the biggest Bhuddist shrines in the world. There’s also an optional Mount Everest flight-seeing excursion in the morning, should you wish (£203pp). (Meals: breakfast)

Day 4: Kathmandu - Chitwan

After breakfast, you’ll drive to Chitwan National Park, one of the richest parks in Asia, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Upon arrival, your guide will brief you on the jungle activities available. (Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 5: Chitwan

Enjoy a day of jungle activities, provided by the hotel. Discover the area's abundant wildlife and admire the untouched landscapes. (Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 6: Chitwan - Pokhara

As you make the journey to Pokhara, you’ll pay a visit to Bandipur Village and learn the practices of the Newari culture. There’s intricate architecture as well as small cafés and temples to see. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 7: Pokhara

Take in beautiful Himalayan views at your accommodation in Pokhara, a quiet valley with thick pine forests and pristine rivers. You’ll see the Devi Waterfall, the Sacred Cave of Gupteshwor, and Old Bazaar of Pokhara, and enjoy a boat ride on Phewa Lake - Pokhara's largest. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 8: Pokhara

Climb up to the viewpoint of Sarangkot to enjoy a stunning sunrise over the glorious mountain peaks. Snap those insta-worthy photos of the scenery before returning to the hotel, and relax for the rest of the day. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 9: Pokhara - Kathmandu

You’ll drive back to Kathmandu, enjoying the dramatic landscapes and scenery along your six-hour drive. You’ll check back into Ghangri Boutique for one night. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 10: Kathmandu - Nagarkot

On your way to Nagarkot, a beautiful village nestled in the mountains boasting views of the Himalayas, you’ll stop off at Bhaktapur Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Check into Himilayan Villa and watch a spectacular sunset, high over the mountains. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 11: Nagarkot

Spend your day hiking around the area, and bask in the simplicity of the natural landscapes, terraced farmland and Himalayan views. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 12: Nagarkot - Kathmandu

Wake up before dawn to watch another breathtaking sunset over the snow-capped mountains. You’ll head back to Kathmandu for the last time, visiting the Changu Narayan Temple (Nepal's oldest) on the way. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 13: Kathmandu

You can either spend your last day shopping for souvenirs and visiting your favourite sights, or opting to go on an excursion to the villages of Bungamati and Khokana, where you’ll discover the history and traditions of the Newar culture (£31pp). (Meals: breakfast)

Day 14: Kathmandu - UK

Board your overnight flight back home. (Meals: breakfast)
