Day 1: UK – Beirut
Hop aboard your flight from the UK and land into Beirut. Lapped by the deep blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea, It’s a glamorous, fast-paced place with friendly people, a thriving bar and restaurant scene and an energetic vibe. Check in to the Caramel Boutique Hotel and get settled in, then opt to head out and explore some of the city’s celebrated nightlife. (Meals: dinner)
Day 2: Beirut – Beitedinne – Beiruit
After a morning briefing, head out on a half-day guided tour of the city. Billed as the ‘Bride of the Middle East’, it’s bursting with cultural delights; discover the Corniche (seaside promenade), the iconic Pigeon’s Grotto rocks and the National Museum, which boasts a vast collection of ancient antiquities, dating all the way back to prehistoric times. Later on, set off towards the Chouf Mountains for a chance to explore the opulent Beitedinne Palace and the Deir al-Qamar (Monastery of the Moon). (Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Day 3: Beirut – Baalbeck – Ksara – Anjar – Beirut
Today, enjoy an excursion to Baalbeck, considered Lebanon’s greatest treasure, famous for its detailed temple ruins dating all the way back to the Roman Empire. Post-lunch, continue to Ksara, one of the most celebrated wineries within the region. Enjoy a tipple or two with a wine-tasting session, then journey to Anjar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site founded at the beginning of the 8th century. (Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Day 4: Beirut – Tyre – Beirut
After a hearty breakfast, discover the country’s Phoenician history and lounge on some of the country’s best beaches in Tyre, stopping along the way at Sidon to visit souks and the Sea Castle, constructed by the Crusaders in AD 1228. Enjoy lunch in Tyre, then continue to Echmoun, an ancient place of worship dedicated to Eshmun, the Phoenician god of healing. (Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Day 5: Beirut – Jeita – Harissa – Beirut
Set off this morning to the mesmerising Jeita Grotto, a flooded and sprawling cave system that was once considered a finalist for the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Enjoy a boat ride here through the lower cavern, then also enjoy a cable car throughout the area. Heading back into daylight, continue to Harissa and soak up the panoramic vistas from the Shrine for our Lady of Lebanon. Then, head back to the capital. (Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Day 6: Beirut – Batroun – Bylbos – Beirut
Set off for the north of the country today to Batroun, famous for its fragrant lemon groves and fresh lemonade. You'll weave in and out of historic Roman Catholic and Greek Orthodox Churches and soak up the laid-back atmosphere. Continue to Bylbos, considered the oldest harbour on Earth, and indulge in a tasty seafood lunch. (Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Day 7: Beirut – UK
After breakfast, head to the airport and catch your flight back to UK where your trip comes to a close. (Meals: breakfast)

Please note that at the time of booking, your name must be filled out exactly as per your passport (including any middle names). This is in order to accurately book flights and for any required visa invitation letters.
If your outbound flight leaves at dawn (before 4am) you must arrive at the airport the night before the selected departure day. If your return flight departs early in the morning, you may not be able to enjoy the included breakfast.

What is a deposit?
In short, you pay Secret Escapes a non-refundable deposit to secure your holiday, then you pay the holiday supplier the remaining balance of the holiday - as advertised - at a later date (before you travel).
We've added deposit-only sales to enable our members to get early-bird access to more amazing holidays, and because we know that planning and paying for a holiday can take time.
