Traumhotel Alpina is situated in the resort of Gerlos in the Zillertal area, on the border of Salzburg and Tyrol in Austria. The nearest airports are in Innsbruck (84 kilometres) and Salzburg (181 kilometres). If you’re driving, you’ll need to take the 165 road between Zell am Ziller and Mittersill.

Gerlos 298, 6281 Gerlos, Austria

A remote setting straddling the provinces of Salzburg and Tyrol, Gerlos is a peaceful alpine hamlet surrounded by ski slopes and hiking trails at an altitude of 1300 metres. During the winter, the prime interest is skiing, and not unreasonably so: the area is vast, stretching all the way from Zell am Ziller to Hochkrimml on the opposite side of the Gerlos Pass. In summer, the location is also perfect for hiking and mountain biking.
