Day 1: UK - Marrakech

Arrive in Marrakech where you'll be transferred to your hotel. (Meals: dinner)

Day 2: Marrakech - Essaouira - El Jadida - Casablanca

Depart early for the harbour city of Essaouria, with its ancient fortified port. Enjoy an optional fish lunch (chargeable) before moving on to Casablanca along the Atlantic. En route, stop in Oualidia and El Jadida. If you arrive in time, you'll take an orientation tour of the city. (Meals: breakfast, dinner)

Day 3: Casablanca - Meknes - Fez

Visit Casablanca's central market, the Habous district, the Royal Palace and Mohamed V Square before departing for Meknes. In Meknes, you'll take in the Ismailia capital and its ramparts, as well as Bab Mansour gate, the Royal Stables and the Jewish Quarter. Continue on to Fez, where you'll spend the night. (Meals: breakfast, lunch)

Day 4: Fez

Today you'll take in the spiritual capital of Morocco - Fez. Visit the Medieval Medina, the Nejjarine fountain, Moulay Idriss mausoleum and outside the Karaouyne Mosque. Enjoy lunch at the hotel before an afternoon at the souks. Tonight, you've the option to take dinner in the Medina with folkloric entertainment. (Meals: breakfast, lunch)

Day 5: Fez - Rabat - Marrakech

Head to the holy city of Moulay Driss and the ruins of Volubilis - the Roman City. Continue on to Rabat, the administrative capital, and visit the Royal Palace, Ouadayas Garden and Kasbah, Mohamed V Mausoleum and the Hassan Tower Mosque. Take an optional fish lunch (chargeable) before continuing on to Marrakech, where you'll spend the night. (Meals: breakfast, dinner)

Day 6: Marrakech

Spend the whole day getting to know charismatic Marrekech with a historical sightseeing tour. You'll visit Menara Garden, the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia and Dar Si Said Museum. Enjoy lunch at the hotel before visiting the souks and the handicraft quarter in the afternoon. Later, visit the famous Jemaa el-Fna Square. (Meals: breakfast, lunch)

Day 7: Marrakech

Today is yours for the taking in buzzy Marrakech. Fashion-enthusiasts won't want to miss the Yves Saint Laurent Museum and adjacent Majorelle Garden, whilst photography lovers would enjoy the House of Photography. (Meals: breakfast, dinner)

Day 8: Marrakech - UK

Transfer to the airport to catch your flight home.
