  • Five-star hospitality in the mountains: Having opened its doors in October 2021, the five-star Grand Hotel Cervino is still relatively new to the hotel scene, but it has its hospitality down to a fine art. Contemporary décor with an Alpine twist, a sophisticated spa area for soothing sessions, and an enviable location at the foot of the Matterhorn, where skiing is the order of the day in both winter and summer - as well as every other thrilling outdoor pursuit you could possibly think of.

  • Where tradition meets innovation: Fine wine, fine food, and a fine setting… what more could you want at Restaurant Le Saveur, where Alpine cuisine meets breathtaking views? Savour freshly made classics under chandeliers in the wood-panelled room, before sipping on your favourite cocktail on the terrace, overlooking the mountains below.

  • Prime mountain wellness: It might be hard to rival the peace and tranquillity found amid the hiking trails and forests of your surrounds, but Adara Spa is certainly up to the task. With over 600 square metres of dedicated facilities - including saunas, emotional showers, and a Himalayan pink salt room - and specialised massage cabins with a healthy menu of treatments, Adara takes relaxation and wellbeing to new heights in the mountains.

Avouil, 11028 Cervinia AO, Italy

The stunning Breuil-Cervinia is an Alpine resort in the Aosta Valley, at the foot of the Matterhorn. Dubbed ‘the Snow Queen’, you can be assured that winters here are a snowy paradise, with over 360 kilometres of powder-white piste to test out your skiing skills. The hotel has close ties to a ski school, so even beginners will feel perfectly at home here. The area is also known for its ‘double winters’, where skiing is possible even in summer. At an altitude of 3,500 metres, you’ll be able to hit the slopes of the Plateau Rosà glacier even during July and August. For those who are more comfortable out of their ski boots, the region blossoms - quite literally - lower down in the warmer months, where an array of outdoor activities are on offer for adventurous types. Whether it’s hiking and cycling along rocky paths, or climbing steep cliff faces surrounded by vibrant woodland, you can sample a different facet of nature every day.
