How to get there

You can reach the mountain resort by car via Gerlitzenstrasse from Treffen am Ossiacher See. The nearest airport is Klagenfurt Airport which is approximately 45 minutes away (55 kilometres) by car, or Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport, which is just over an hour's drive (90 kilometres). The nearest train station is Villach, just 18 kilometres from the hotel.

Just a mere 150 metres from your holiday apartment you’ll find the white blanketed slopes of The Gerlitzen ski area. Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, there’s fun to be had for every level, as the area provides gloriously uninterrupted pistes and wonderful views of the surrounding mountains and Lake Ossiacher.

If skiing is not your thing, the area also boasts seven winter hiking routes and numerous biking paths which allow for a completely different Alpine perspective. Have a go at snowshoeing on a guided hike in the Dobratsch Nature Park, try tobogganing on the Dobratsch, or in summer months choose to join the sailors, windsurfers, stand-up paddlers, boaters, water skiers and wakeboarders who congregate at Lake Ossiacher for a spot of lakeside fun.
