Location and what's nearby

Dartmoor National Park, North Bovey, Devon TQ13 8RE

At Bovey Castle, there's very little excuse for not enjoying the fantastic Dartmoor setting. There are tours of the area on foot or by car, guided by experts in the region's history and geography; discover the locations that feature in Steven Spielberg's War Horse. On site, try your hand at archery, clay pigeon shooting, horseback adventures, deer park tours and fly fishing. Attend a sloe gin-making (and drinking) session or try your hand at Crolf, the Bovey Castle's very own eccentric new sport. There's even a championship 18-hole golf course and a 4x4 off-road track.
