The volcanic Greek isle of Santorini is blessed with simply stunning natural and manmade wonders, some of which are definitely bucket list and have to be seen to be believed. One such is its capital Fira – a vision in resplendent white – its pristine buildings linked by narrow winding alleyways. Expect jaw-dropping vistas at every turn, especially on the caldera side where you are rewarded with memorable bird’s eye views from steep cliffs down to the shimmering waters of the vast lagoon far below.
