Gran Canaria is renowned for its beautiful beaches and fine weather, and the hotel is perfectly placed to enjoy both – it’s just 500 metres from the spectacular golden sands of Playa del Inglés beach where you can swim and surf to your heart’s content. Golfers can practice their swing with ease, as four of the island’s eight courses are close by.

Once the sun goes down, you’re a 12-minute walk from the Yumbo Centre, one of the island’s main hubs for after-dark entertainment with plenty of bars and restaurants. By day, it’s also worth a visit for souvenirs. If you fancy venturing further afield, the capital, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, is 58 kilometres away and has plenty of shops, restaurants and museums.
