With a beachfront setting at Playa de los Pocillos, you’ll be in the town of Puerto del Carmen on the southeast side of Lanzarote. Be wowed by the six-kilometre stretch of Blue Flag-winning sands, wander around the Old Harbour area, shop at the Biosfera Plaza shopping centre, and book a round of golf at the 18 hole par 72 course between Puerto del Carmen and Tias. Further thrills include gazing at the moon-like volcanic landscape of Parque Nacional de Timanfaya a half-hour drive west, perhaps via a guided hike or a bus tour of the Ruta de Volcanes (Volcano Route). Riding a buggy off-road across the volcanic landscapes is another fun option.
