The Salil Hotel Riverside - Bangkok, 2052, 7-9 Charoen Krung 72/-1 Alley, Wat Phraya Krai, Bang Kho Laem, Bangkok 10120, Thailand

Thanks to your proximity to the river, it couldn’t be easier to hop on the ferry and zoom through the centre of the city to top attractions like beautiful Wat Arun, the mesmerising Grand Palace complex and the famous ICONSIAM mall. Your nearest ferry terminal is just one stop on from Sathorn Ferry Port, where all services - including the Chaophraya Tourist Boat, or CTB - stop. Hit all the top spots with ease, and save your visit to the riverside temple of Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn) for the late afternoon, if you can; as dusk falls, the temple is lit up to appear almost golden against the darkening sky.

Bangkok is also famous for the unique shopping, dining and entertainment opportunities which abound in the city’s many incredible malls. Find rows of boutique stalls and an incredible array of food at MBK Center, luxury brands and a mini floating market at ICONSIAM, and fairground rides and a slew of international restaurants at Asiatique The Riverfront (just a 10-minute walk from the hotel).
Five-star booking service? You bet.
