This sleek abode is tucked away near the centre of Annenheim, next to the formidable Ossiacher See and the slopes of the Gerlitzen ski resort. As the seasons change, the appeal of your stunning lakeside setting only grows. In spring and summer, skiing and snowboarding give way to hiking and the lake comes alive with activity; why not try your hand at sailing, or simply cool off in its waters as the sun climbs higher in the sky. 

You've several other lakes in the area too, plus an animal park for close up monkey encounters in nearby Villach. Two hours' drive away is Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, which is well worth a day trip if you fancy admiring its beautiful castles and walking along its willow-bordered river.
