Property details

Jaw dropping Ibiza hotel dedicated to audio and visual arts, complete with galleries and a retro cinema – includes breakfast and early check-in

  • Delightfully decadent: Grand Paradiso is nothing if not impressive. Prepare to be immediately blown away by the Art Deco decor, with gorgeous pastel pinks, greens and oranges, not to mention an appropriate amount of gold. The hotel is a celebration of the audio and visual arts, with this best shown in the grand suites, affectionately named Almódovar, David Lynch and Wes Anderson, and the red velvet-clad cinema, which shows a range of only the most classic films.

  • The sweet life: Aiming to bring back the American Dolce Vita, meet The Caduzzi – the extravagant pool area fitted with a pastel pink Cadillac Eldorado that has been converted into a Jacuzzi. A well stocked bar is also on hand to meet your every need in this setting of retro opulence, and in true Ibiza style, the resident DJ has set up shop in a classic Miami beach hut to complete the scene.

  • Brilliant food: The hotel restaurant and bar matches the tasteful Art Deco theme, with mirror panelled walls, pillars, and gold chrome. Dine on international classics deliciously whipped up by the chef, either inside or alfresco by the pool, and be sure to sample the creative cocktails, not to mention the impressive wine list. For anyone who needs a little more time to themselves in the morning, breakfast can be brought to your room to help you hit your stride.

Location and what's nearby

static map

Grand Paradiso, Carrer de Lugo, 07829 Sant Josep de sa Talaia, Ibiza

The hotel is set in the cool town of Carrer de Lugo, which is close to a number of idyllic beaches. The closest beach to the hotel is Playa de Pinet, which is a quiet sandy beach if you wanted a bit of seclusion by the water – a slightly bigger beach nearby is Cala Pinet. Tucked away in its own little cove, you'll find Port Des Torrent Beach with beautiful water to swim in.

The beautiful seaside town of San Antonio is just four kilometres from Carrer de Lugo and definitely worth a visit. Have a drink on Sunset Strip – colloquially known as Ses Variades – which is one of the best places on the island to watch the sun go down. Thrill seekers can get stuck in to all sorts of watersports from San Antonio, such as jet skiing, parasailing or paddleboarding.

Far from the clubbing crowd, visit the walled Ibiza Old Town, also called Dalt Vila – the walls themselves are a Unesco World Heritage Site. On entry you will find the Plaza de Vila, the main square, where there are many fine restaurants before you navigate the old streets up to the top of a hill and take in the impressive views.
