In the warmer months, you'll be well-placed to explore the UNESCO-listed Lungau Biosphere Park, and several sparkling Carinthian lakes. And with an extensive selection of activities on offer - guided hikes, archery, e-biking, climbing, summer tobogganing, horse riding and more - there's no better place to live it up in the great outdoors.

Visiting during the festive season? The Katschberg Advent Trail runs from 25 November to 22 December, offering scenic lantern-lit hikes through the untouched, snow-covered landscape of the Gontal Nature Reserve, culminating at an atmospheric crib where the Christ Child lies in a hay barn.
