Grand Elysée Hamburg, Rothenbaumchaussee 10 20148 Hamburg, Germany

Right in the heart of 1200-year-old Hamburg, the hotel provides the ideal location for sightseeing, shopping and exploring the city’s maritime charm. Located on Rothenbaumchaussee, a few minutes walk from Dammtor railway station and Alster Lake, this hotel is in the perfect spot.

The Hanseatic city is perhaps best-known as Germany’s second-largest city and is famous for its port – but there’s a reason why it’s often referred to as one of the world’s coolest cities. It has a vibe similar to Copenhagen but is less busy and refined than its Danish counterpart, though has the same mix of contemporary high-rises and older, characterful red brick buildings from its time as a trading powerhouse. Wonder the Unesco-listed wharves of Speicherstadt by day – now home to bougie bars and coffee shops – and by night check out the cocktail bars and restaurants around the Rathaus, the imposing city hall.

Be sure to check out the hip museums, cutting-edge theatre, cool shops and buzzing nightlife which Hamburg is famous for.
Five-star booking service? You bet.
