How to get there

Hotel River & Spa is situated nine kilometres from Florence’s Peretola airport, which has seasonal flights from a number of UK airports. A wider choice of flights can be accessed from Pisa Airport (82 kilometres away), which is easily reached via train to Florence Santa Maria Novella station (two kilometres’ walk from the hotel). The train takes about two hours from Pisa Centrale station; you’ll need to use the PisaMover tram to get from the airport to the central station – but doing it this way means you can also tie in a trip to the Leaning Tower.
